Wake County ARES Net Script
(One minute prior to net make the following announcement)
This is (Call sign), the Wake County ARES net begins in one minute. All stations please stand by.

All Stations this net, this is (Call sign phonetic) – assuming net control for the Wake County Amateur Radio Emergency Service net, out.
All stations this net, this is (Call sign), net control for the Wake County ARES net. This is a directed net. All stations are requested to direct all calls to net control.
This directed net meets every Thursday evening around 9:20 pm for the purpose of providing training and information for the local Amateur radio community. All stations in the coverage area of this repeater holding a Technician class license or higher are invited to check in.
To check in, please give my call sign (Call sign); pause your transmission to check for any doubling, when clear, give your call sign, name, ARES appointment (if any), and your Area Number or Branch. Please also advise if you wish to immediately secure from the net.
