• Memorandum of Understanding signed at JARSFest; Spells out ARES/RACES relationship for State of NC
• MOU soon to be available on web for reading and altering for local ARES/RACES group use
• Net conducted during SET
• SET runs until Monday 11/27/02
• Brunswick County Nuclear Power Plant drill occurred 11/19/02-some great involvement from area hams.
• Some new additional information on RACES specifics possible soon

• TNC ARES is researching for digital comms is made by Special Communication Systems. Both the PTC-IIpro or PTC-IIe are under consideration.
• Tentatave State EOC Work Day 07-DEC-2002
• Expect State-Level Simulated Emergency Test within the next few weeks. Expect "field-day", type conditions to be required for participation. Will probably occur on a Saturday or Sunday
• No Ares Net will be held on 146.88 on Thanksgiving (Thursday 28-NOV-2002)
• "Generator Posse" needs help. See the CCHH events calendar page.
• Skywarn Recogition Day is 07-DEC-2002. Will include HF (and IRLP?) contacts Bob, WX4MMM for more info.
